c2sc — Small Capitals From Capitals
c2sc (Small Capitals From Capitals) turns capital glyphs into small capitals.
It is used for words like UNICEF or SCUBA that would otherwise be set in all caps, giving them a small-cap form that does not disrupt the flow of text.
Turning lowercase glyphs into small capitals is the job of smcp (Small Capitals). The specification requires fonts that implement smcp to also implement c2sc.
Petite caps, smaller still, have the same relationship.
