pcap — Petite Capitals
pcap (Petite Capitals) turns lowercase glyphs into petite caps.
Petite caps are smaller still than regular small caps. In designs with a short lowercase x-height, they harmonize with the lowercase better than the taller small caps do.
Turning capital glyphs into petite caps is the job of c2pc (Petite Capitals From Capitals). The specification requires fonts that implement pcap to also implement c2pc.
Small caps have the same relationship.
